COOKING BREAKFAST PATTIES 

On the stove, cook sausage patties from room temperature in a small amount of light olive oil or grapeseed oil over medium heat in a cast iron skillet or on the griddle for 5 or 6 minutes each side until evenly browned, the sausages are firm to the touch, and their juices run clear. The should read an internal temperature of 165° F/74° C.

 Breakfast sausages are delicious with eggs, omelettes, waffles (be sure to smear them in the maple syrup), fresh greens, and hash browns. Crumble and fry the sausage in your potato hash. They’re equally delicious with white beans and greens. Or make a sandwich with spicy greens and tomatoes. 

Kept in a cold (below 40°F) refrigerator sauage patties will last for 7 days, and will freeze well for up to one month.
